Code of Conduct

Our name is our program. Telya derives from the Greek language and has two meanings: “perfect” (“τέλεια”) or “full stop” (“τελεία”). Thus, the company name serves as the framework for our actions: In our offerings, we are committed to the highest levels of quality, and we provide our clients with hands-on, practical advice that will help them make informed decisions. A more detailed explanation of our guiding values is presented here, along with relevant business situations.

  1. Client services and supplier standards

As a company, we strive to establish credible, long-term, and sustainable business relationships. We make sure that all of our clients are served with the highest quality of service and that any questions they may have are addressed thoroughly and timely.

In all our actions, we recognize the importance of integrity and compliance in order to achieve our goals. Whenever we work with our external suppliers, it is our responsibility to make sure that the standards mentioned in this document are equally respected.

  1. Privacy and data protection

We are committed to protecting individuals‘ privacy and the security of confidential information and assets provided by our clients. All employees are obliged to act in accordance with these standards and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. We will not tolerate behavior that violates personal data privacy or security. This includes but is not limited to unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of sensible data.

  1. Intellectual property rights

The protection of the Intellectual Property (”IP”) of others is very important to us, as well as protecting the IP of our company. We assure to comply with all laws and regulations that apply to a certain matter. This includes but is not limited to copyright infringement, trademark infringement, and trade secret misappropriation.

We are committed to complying with all applicable laws and regulations, expect all employees to act in accordance with these laws and regulations and report any violations they may observe.

Human rights are of utmost importance to us, and we are firmly dedicated to following all human rights laws. The consequence of this is that we treat others with the very best ethical standards, set high standards for our partners, and always strive to lead by example. Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, fraud, bribery, and corruption in any form will not be tolerated by us in any way.

We understand our social responsibility as a business, and we encourage our employees to participate in various social service activities, such as volunteering, to make a positive difference in their respective communities.

We create a working environment that inspires and motivates. Employees are paid in line with industry standards, regardless of gender, race or other. It is important to keep in mind that not every situation can be captured in a Code of Conduct. As a result, we encourage our colleagues to ask questions whenever they are in doubt about whether or not the right course of action is being taken or if a potential conflict of interest exists. As a company, we intentionally cultivate an open-door culture where people feel free to ask questions and raise concerns.

This Code of Conduct is not meant to supersede any applicable law. Telya GmbH reserves the right to update or change the code requirements upon notice.
